The White House, infiltrated. The president, running for his life.A traitorous general, intent on burning the world to the ground. When everything falls apart, who do you trust?President Jack Spiers fled Washington DC on the heels of a devastating attack on CIA headquarters, masterminded by one of America's own, former General Porter Madigan. While the world believes Jack was killed in the bombing, he embarks on a wild infiltration mission, smuggling himself into occupied Russia to rescue the love of his life: former Secret Service Agent and First Gentleman Ethan Reichenbach.Reunited, Jack, Ethan, and deposed Russian president Sergey Puchkov, along with President Elizabeth Wall--the only person left in Washington DC who Jack trusts--must work together. They piece together a desperate plan, hunting Madigan to the ends of the earth and the bitter frigidity of the Arctic, where Madigan's world-shattering doomsday plan comes together.Outnumbered, outmaneuvered, and outgunned, Jack, Ethan, Sergey, and the rest of the team struggle to put a stop to Madigan and his army. In the desolate extremes of the Arctic, their resolve, their strength, and even their love is tested, pushed to the absolute limits as choices must be made: choices that pit the fate of the world against the love in their hearts, and the loves of their life.As the world crumbles around them, Jack and Ethan find themselves waging a war on two fronts--against an enemy they can see, and another, hiding within their ranks.Who can be trusted when the enemy is within you?

For the very worst kind of liberals, they long ago, beginning with guys like Bertram Russell, Woodrow Wilson and the Fabian Society, understood that the greatest flaw in democracy was the one man one vote concept and, if they could corrupt this system, they could hugely benefit and, in the process, gain enormous power and riches. It is this second kind of scoundrel we have to thank for the terrible situation we in America find ourselves in today. We will show, step by bloody step, how these miserable creatures have crippled our lovely, free and once great country- how they originated, hatched and engineered nefarious plots to bring us down and themselves up. We will show, with no chance of the guilty escaping our scrutiny, who these swine are and how they did what they have done. Once you have read and comprehended the contents of this book, your view of liberals, progressives, democrats, socialists, communists and fellow travelers will never again be the same. You will hate them with every fiber of your being! You will fight them at every turn, to the death, if that is what it will take. Robert J. Firth January 2011

This book examines the ways by which the European Union impacts economic and political processes in its member and candidate countries. Positive Turkish and negative Greek experiences suggest that the EU functions as a powerful catalyst of political and economic change, if towards various ends.

He served as General Smith's executive assistant when Smith was appointed Director of Central Intelligence in 1950 and was one of the original members of the Board of National Estimates. Montague argues that Smith was the first DCI with the skill and determination to implement the plan envisioned by JIC 239/5. This plan provided for a strong DCI who exercised authority over general intelligence community policy and the coordination of national estimates, but retaining the autonomy of the individual intelligence services in day-to-day operations. According to Montague, Smith's predecessors had failed. Souers was a caretaker. Vandenberg tried to gain total control of all intelligence operations, but was defeated. Hillenkoetter was indecisive and unable to press the case for centralization
