As the monthly periodical of the early twentieth century women's movement, "International Woman Suffrage" (originally "Ius Suffragii") was read by the leading figures of the suffrage movement in more than thirty countries. Featuring an in-depth introduction to the material and its social and historical context, this four-volume set reprints eight years of the journal, making this rare resource available to students and researchers in a variety of disciplines. In addition to women's fight for the vote, "International Woman Suffrage 1913-1920" covered such highly controversial topics as the age of consent for girls, alcohol control, education of girls, new employment openings for women, divorce law reform, health insurance for mothers, maternity benefits, minimum wages, prostitution, women medical workers, women police, women politicians, and other subjects of debate. Truly global for its time, issues included articles by women from Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bohemia, British India, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Rumania, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the USA.

Many have heard of the emerging church, but few people feel like they have a handle on what the emerging church believes and represents. Is it a passing fad led by disenfranchised neo-evangelicals? Or is it the future of the church at large? Now available in trade paper, An Emergent Manifesto of Hope represents a coming together of divergent voices into a conversation that pastors, students, and thoughtful Christians can now learn from and engage in. This unprecedented collection of writings includes articles by some of the most important voices in the emergent conversation, including Brian McLaren, Dan Kimball, and Sally Morgenthaler. It also introduces some lesser known but integral players representing "who's next" within the emerging church. The articles cover a broad range of topics, such as spirituality, theology, multiculturalism, postcolonialism, sex, evangelism, and many others. Anyone who wants to know what the emerging church is all about needs to start here.

Women of the world, without a doubt, our time is here. Those who are still in slavery, hold on; your time for liberation has come. The reality is that love will rule. We will not bargain away our new position or be evasive about it. We have come to recognize ourselves. We are here to stay. We will be at the forefront of life-changing events in the world, which will need our motivation and input. Should men leave us out, reality will overtake them; stalemate and impotence will be the order of the day. Our input will be of utmost importance. The world cannot go forward without half the population. This is a great victory and has moved us from heartbreak to total triumph. The wisdom of a female has been an unspoken factor behind the strong male energy, and this wisdom will be the key in the world's change. To gain this wisdom, women must learn from the women in worlds past who were a guiding light in their time. In this day of a heightened feminine era, the world will continue to undergo significant changes. Through the lessons of these fellow sisters, women everywhere will be empowered to institute change. Monika issues a manifesto to women throughout the world to focus on their intuitive powers to elevate the status of Aquarian developments. Women are a force to be reckoned with, especially when we band together as a Universal Sisterhood.

The human rights of men and boys in the United Kingdom have been increasingly assaulted by the state's actions and inactions for over 30 years, as they have across much of the developed world. Justice for men & boys (and the women who love them) is the only political party in the English-speaking world campaigning for the human rights of men and boys, including the right of all children to enjoy good access to both parents following family breakdowns, and the restoration of fatherhood and strong families. The British state has become ever more hostile towards men and boys, although the state is largely funded by men, through income tax receipts. Men collectively pay 72%, and women 28%, of the income taxes collected by the state. In 2011/12 British men paid £68 billion - £68,000,000,000 - more income tax than women, yet the state disadvantages men and boys in many areas, usually to advantage women and girls. There are no areas in which the state disadvantages women and girls. A state which is hostile towards half its citizens also affects women who are mothers of boys, or who are men's partners, relatives, colleagues, friends or acquaintances. In the case of abortion, foetal alcohol syndrome, and fatherlessness, girls (including those yet unborn) are also assaulted by the actions and inactions of the state. The result is both inevitable and predictable - an ever more dysfunctional society, with increasing alienation of the sexes. In this manifesto we provide details of the state's disadvantaging of men and boys in 20 areas, and we make proposals in each of them. The areas are presented in a broadly chronological order: Abortion Foetal alcohol syndrome Genital mutilation Fatherlessness, restoring strong families Education Employment Access to children after family breakdowns Domestic violence Sexual abuse Armed Forces veterans' mental health issues Homelessness Suicide Criminal justice system Paternity fraud Anonymity for suspected sexual offenders Divorce Health Political representation State interference in company director appointments Expectation of retirement years The social engineering programmes which seek equality of gender outcomes are having an increasingly damaging impact on British society, and the Conservative-led coalition is no less keen on driving those programmes than the preceding Labour administrations. We have a vision of Britain as a nation that doesn't disadvantage half its citizens. A society in which men and women have equal opportunities but are able to make their own choices in life, without state intervention to advantage one sex over the other. It's said that under the 'first past the post' system, votes for parties other than the major parties are wasted, but voting is the only mechanism democracy affords citizens to seriously challenge politicians who embrace the all-pervading anti-male ideology which has dictated the state's policy directions for over 30 years. The major parties are institutionally committed to advantaging women and girls at the expense of men and boys, regardless of the consequences, as we recognized after engaging in parliamentary inquiries which demonstrated that the government simply doesn't respond to rational arguments against anti-male policy directions. The only choice for citizens concerned about the state's assaults on the human rights of men and boys is to vote - and to vote for J4MB. In the short to medium term, our challenge is to improve public understanding about the state's assaults on the human rights of men and boys. We do that in various ways, including the use of social media. Our television and radio appearances may be found on our YouTube channel. Our longer term strategy, however, is to develop our party to the point that we can field many candidates in general elections, in marginal constituencies, where the major parties are vulnerable. They will then have no choice but to take heed of the voices we represent, engage with us, and seek to appease them by modifying their policies, and their direction of travel. At the 2015 general election we'll be fielding three candidates in adjacent constituencies near Nottingham where, in 2010, MPs were elected with very slim majorities: - I'll be standing in Ashfield, where Gloria De Piero retained the seat for Labour with 192 more votes than a Liberal Democrat candidate. She's the Shadow Minister for Women & Equalities. - Ian Young, formerly a victim of domestic violence, will be standing against a Conservative, Mark Spencer, in Sherwood. Ian lives in the constituency, in Hucknall. - Ray Barry, leader of the campaign group Real Fathers for Justice, will be standing against another Conservative, Anna Soubry, in Broxtowe. I should like to take this opportunity to thank all the men and women who have supported J4MB since its launch in February 2013, including those who have contributed to this manifesto. We've gone to considerable lengths to ensure that all the information we present is factually correct. If you should find any mistakes, or you believe any of the content to be misleading, please draw this to our attention. If you feel able to support J4MB in any way, please contact us. I invite you to make a donation, which will support our campaigning. Nobody associated with J4MB has ever drawn any personal income from donations, and we don't expect that to change in the foreseeable future, if ever. Thank you for your support, and for seeking justice for men and boys (and the women who love them).

In this take off from the Workers of the World, Unite!, a la Marx and Engels (The Communist Manifesto), the author looks at what that saying would be given the metaphysical reality of man and woman balance. Author Bio: Christopher Alan Anderson (1950 - ) received the basis of his education from the University of Science and Philosophy, Swannanoa, Waynesboro, Virginia. He resides in the transcendental/romantic tradition, that vein of spiritual creativity of the philosopher and poet. His quest has been to define and express an eternal romantic reality from which a man and a woman could together stand in their difference and create a living universe of procreative love. Mr. Anderson began these writings in 1971. The first writings were published in 1985. On a personal note, when Mr. Anderson was asked to describe the writings and what he felt their message was he responded, "Spiritual procreation. Mankind has yet to distinguish the two sexes on the spiritual level. In this failure lies the root of our problems and why we cannot yet touch the eternal together. The message of man and woman balance brings each of us together in love with our eternal other half right now." Keywords: Man and Woman Balance, Relationships, Procreation, Spirituality, Love, Metaphysics, Eternal, Creation, Sexuality, & Soul.

This is a book about how and why people do life as they do. It is as well a book about how people could or should think about doing life for the benefit of their own well-being and that of the people they associate with. It is a book about how our feelings and our thinking interfere with how we could be doing the life we dream of. It is a book about the mistakes we make in doing life, and how we could avoid those mistakes. It is a book about what causes us to be the way we are. It is a book about why we often cant do life as we wish. It is about the personal dragons that stand in our way. And it is about how the real world outside of us can frequently frustrate even our best intentions. It is about ramping up for doing life, and then trying to understand why our lives so often turn out in ways we had neither anticipated nor desired. It is about how getting involved with others means our lives are forever altered. It is about why that could be a good thing or a bad thing, and how to best figure that out in advance. It is a book about frustration and regret, about pleasure and pain. It is about participating in lifes trials and tribulations by choice. It is the kind of book you can use to maximize your choices about doing life as you would have it done, and about mastering the influences of what happens in the world around you. It is about undoing the life you have in order to be able to do life the way it should be done.
